A retired finance and investment banking professional with over 30 years of extensive experience in banking operations, treasury, financial control, credit risk management, credit analysis, complex project finance/specialized lending structuring, agricultural project finance, and public sector lending. Served with UBA, Ecobank, Nigeria, and at the executive management level at FirstBank where he was Chief Risk Officer, FBNBank, DRC (a subsidiary of First Bank, Nigeria). He holds BSc in Accounting from Babcock University and an MBA (Management) from the University of Uyo. He is a Fellow, of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and has attended numerous managerial and industry-focused training courses.
